Keeping Pages You Join Private On Facebook

AS SOON AS THEY ARE POSTED TO THIS BLOG!!

If you want to keep the Fan Pages you join private on Facebook, here are the simple steps you need to follow to change your permission settings and avoid those misunderstandings!

• Float your mouse over "Settings" to the right of your name and select "Applications".
• A new page will load.
• Click the drop down menu in the "Show:" box on the upper right of the page and select "Authorised"
• "Ads and Pages" will show in the list when the new page loads
• Click on "Edit settings" for "Ads and Pages"
• A small window will open, Click on "Additional Permissions" and de-select "Publish recent activity (one line stories) to my Wall"
• Click "OK"

You're all set and all private again!
